Michael McCullough has been

problems we now face are ones
we wish we had back then,"
he says of his 2025 economic
outlook (p.48). "There's an
expression in the markets: that
stocks have to climb a wall of
worry," he adds. "It's the same for
the economy. There are always
threats, but gritty companies
and people continue to
persevere and grow."
Randall Watson is a Vancouver-
based illustrator who has
served many roles in B.C.'s
publishing industry. When
asked to illustrate our feature
on real estate investors—"Invest
Yourself" (p.22)—he jumped at
the chance to work with former
colleagues Jenny Reed and
Frances Bula. "As an illustra-
tor, inspiration shines when
interpreting subject matter that
is controversial or has deeper
meaning, so I thought the cover
story would fit well with my style
and be something I could really
sink my teeth into," he says.
