Her areas of focus include travel, art, fashion, food and drink, which is partly why, when profiling Santevia Water Systems founder Yvonne Anderson for our Entrepreneur Of The Year feature (p.22), Hirose asked Anderson if she considers herself a "water snob." The founder admitted she is pretty picky about the water she's served in restaurants… maybe there's an untapped water sommelier niche out there (pun very much intended). Dani Wright is the managing editor of this magazine and our sibling publications, Vancouver magazine and Western Living. She profiled several of the Entrepreneur Of The Year finalists featured in this issue (p.22). "There are so many brilliant and thoughtful innovators here in our province—it was a privilege to learn about how they got to where they are today," she says. "I'm not an entrepreneur myself, but I found when I interviewed the EOY finalists that their tena city was contagious."
