her Pentax k1000 camera. "I am
really a shy person, but having a
camera in my hand allows me
to step into other peoples' lives
for a short period of time and
connect with them," she says.
During her shoot with Stefan
Fletcher for "Sting Operation"
(p.53), she got up close and per-
sonal with Fletcher's bees and
learned to "stay calm and stay
out of their flight path!"
