The new DoloMatte material from MTI Baths has quickly become very popu- lar; so popular, in fact, that the company has opted to expand its initial offering to now encompass most tubs in their Designer Collection, including drop-ins, undermounts, and Sculpted Finish tubs. DoloMatte has a distinctive snowy colour, incredible tactile surface, and on-trend matte finish that creates a pristine space that feels fresh, elegant, and calming. The thermoformed material is unique in its moldability and preparation process, which includes hand-finishing to create a velvety texture. DoloMatte is crafted from a thick, U.S.-made slab of solid-surface specialty polymers blended with ground minerals. WASHING STATIONS Bradley Corp.'s newest model of its award-winning WashBar Series delivers Bradley's exclusive touch-free clean+rinse+dry functionality along with an ultra- modern, edgier profile designed to make a statement in upscale commercial washroom applications. "Now more than ever, touch-free handwashing technologies like WashBar are at the forefront of limiting the spread of germs in public restrooms," says Kris Alderson, senior marketing manager, Bradley Corp. TOILETS The Studio Touchless Right Height Elongated toilet from American Standard features a fully skirted contemporary design that suits most bathrooms. A slow wave of the hand, 1.5 inches from the sensor, activates a powerful Cadet flush. The compact, 2.5-inch sensor module can be installed on a wall within three feet of the toilet or on top of toilet tank. The hands-free operation provides for a more hygienic bathroom, however, a manual flush option is available in the event that batteries need replacing. The 16.5-inch chair height of the toilet, combined with the elongated seat makes for a comfortable bathroom experience. MORE INNOVATIONS & COMPANY UPDATES The research and development experts at Maax have launched a next-level safety product for shower doors. GlassShield features an added layer of protec- tion to the tempered glass security features, bonded directly and permanently into the panel, which provides a more effective retention of glass fragments in a rare case of breakage. Exceeding standard requirements, GlassShield was tested for long-term usage from chemicals to soft abrasive products. There is no need to use an abrasive product on the surface since the Lotus Easy clean glass treatment is subsequently applied to the glass, therefore pre- serving the clear and shine of the glass. And if there's any more proof needed that this industry is still strong, just look to Ipex, which, as a critical part of its North American growth strategy and customer service focus, has expanded its warehousing and distribution capa- bilities. The newest distribution centre is in Charlotte, North Carolina, and is now fully operational. This new distribution centre follows the company's other strategic openings across North America.
