Now imagine this ethereal and organic installation by Vancouver's Molo Design in your own home. Oh, yes. Floor and table lamp versions of the Cloud Softlight are the latest additions to Molo's awardwinning collection — works of art for any space. The white textile shades are made up of scores of cellular honeycomblike forms atop a slender three-legged wooden base. And befitting the delicate cloud-like forms, the light is low-glare, energy-efficient LED for that almost-all-natural glow. ■ – Barb Sligl See SOURCES on page 42 HOT BLOG » The Marion House Book is like a multi-layered inspiration board from Toronto-based interior designer Emma Reddington. The "hello! neighbor" posts provide a peek inside some oh-so-pretty and polished homes while "artist in residence" spotlights other creative-minded people and "moodboards" are lovely thematic musings. Throughout are design tips like using caramel and turquoise as a colour combo or this lesson in Zen: Be generous. themarionhousebook.com – B.S. »»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»» July/August 2013 BC HOME & GARDEN | 11 p10-11_Form+Function.indd 11 13-06-07 11:30 AM
