Variety – The Children's Charity Variety –The Children's Charity's ongoing generosity to BC Women's Hospital has helped fulfill important equipment needs, and helped ensure BC's most critically ill babies continue to get the finest and safest care. TELUS The generosity of TELUS – through event sponsorships and charitable support – continues to help BC Women's Newborn ICU deliver top-level care. TELUS' most recent commitment will fund highly specialized equipment for the Newborn ICU. The Auxiliary to BC Women's Hospital & Health Centre The volunteers of the Auxiliary generously funded the purchase of high-tech mother and baby mannequins, which will allow medical staff to practise obstetric emergency procedures to enhance patient safety. Canucks for Kids Fund A generous donation from Canucks for Kids has made it possible for BC Women's Hospital to purchase more state-of-the-art incubators for critically-ill infants in the Newborn ICU. Sandra Schmirler Foundation Sandra Schmirler Foundation donated a new Cardio Respiratory Monitor for the Newborn ICU. Thanks to this gift, our doctors and nurses have the latest heart and lung monitoring technology to safeguard newborns' lives. RBC and RBC Foundation This year, RBC helped extend BC Women's Hospital's services into rural BC communities, giving young women facing addiction and abuse the support and care they need to recover a healthy lifestyle. Gareth and Leslie Thomas Family The Thomas Family's own journey through BC Women's Newborn ICU inspired them to fund some of the critical equipment needs of this highly specialized unit for the benefit of future families who may need its services. Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP Fasken's sponsorship dollars have helped address some of BC Women's Hospital's most pressing needs, created new opportunities, and helped support BC Women's efforts to deliver the safest and highest quality of care in BC. Mr. and Mrs. P.A. Woodward's Foundation A generous gift from the Mr. and Mrs. P.A. Woodward's Foundation allowed BC Women's Hospital to purchase two much-needed radiant warmers equipped with lifesaving resuscitation technology for the hospital's Birthing Program.
