Vancouver designer Jennifer Fedje of Harmony Cakes used two cake
flavours to create five elegant tiers of pink and gold: chocolate cake
with dark chocolate ganache and hazelnut buttercream layers, and
lemon cake with raspberry and white chocolate buttercream layers.
In addition to rolled fondant icing, the handcrafted sugar hydrangea
blossoms, hand-painted gold lace gilding and gold sugar dragees
give the cake a vintage, romantic vibe. harmonycakes.ca
Vivio Flower Gallery designer Patricia Navarro's bouquet carries
through the romantic theme, using pale Ecuadorian roses and
Colombian hydrangeas. French satin wraps the handle and a
rhinestone wedding brooch with silver plating, plus rhinestones
and gold threaded throughout the flowers, adds welcome glamour.
