CMBA's submission to the Mortgage
Broker Regulators' Council

M
ortgage broker regulators from each of the
provinces collaborate with one another under
the umbrella organization the Mortgage
Broker Regulators' Council of Canada
(MBRCC). The MBRCC is developing a new strategic plan,
on which CMBA has provided input. In particular, CMBA
has elaborated on the surrounding environmental factors
impacting mortgage brokers and lenders, such as the
media bias against private lending, which it frequently
mislabels as "unregulated."
