It's never the same twice; changing tides, weather and marine traffic create a variety of moods. Watch for seals, otters and seabirds. If you're short on time, you can do just a segment – one of our favour- ites is to park at Third Beach and walk north to Siwash Rock. Rent a bike at Bikes on Robson or get guided by Yes Cycle; cyclists must ride the route counter-clockwise, starting at Coal Harbour. SPEND A MORNING ON GRANVILLE ISLAND The fun starts with getting there; hop a tiny passenger ferry from any of a dozen-odd Aquabus and False Creek Ferries docks around False Creek. Disembark at the Granville Island Public Market – a 365-day-a- year fresh grocery institution – and cruise the stalls for locally grown and raised delicacies. Or just enjoy coffee and a croissant overlooking the busy waterfront at the Market's food fair. Then explore the unique array of shops, galleries and eateries in what was once a hotbed of heavy industry. Feeling adventurous? Rent a kayak or paddleboard at Ecomarine Paddlesport Centres for a scenic paddle into English Bay or take a lesson with Dragon Boat BC. Quintessential Vancouver Unique experiences that capture the feel of the city TVAN/CYCLE CITY TOURS , TVAN/NELSON MOUELLIC (KIRIN), TVAN/COAST MOUNTAIN PHOTOGRAPHY (ECOMARINE PADDLESPORTS CENTRES) ENJOY DIM SUM As North America's gateway to Asia, Vancouver has its own take on the Chinese small-plate brunch. Bring family or friends and spend a morning picking savoury and sweet delights like har gao (shrimp dump- lings), deep-fried squid and spicy tofu from carts as they are wheeled past your table. Peak times are late mornings on the week- end – be prepared to wait for a table – but several area eateries serve dim sum seven days a week. Locals all have their favourites, but you can't go wrong with Kirin, Floata Seafood Restaurant or Sun Sui Wah. BIKE Hit the most scenic spots using pedal power with Vancouver Bicycle Tours (electric bikes also available). BOAT Board Harbour Cruises in Coal Harbour for a yacht (or even paddlewheeler) tour of the waterfront. Kirin
