The Vancouver Canadians, the Toronto Blue Jays' single-A farm team, won the Northwest League championship in 2017. FOOTBALL The six-time Grey Cup cham- pion BC Lions of the Canadian Football League have fielded greats including kicker Lui Passaglia, pro football's all-time leading scorer, and college and NFL quarterback Doug Flutie. Even Apollo Creed himself, Carl Weathers from the Rocky movies, once played for the BC Lions.
