Bold darks, bright florals and balancing neutrals are all available, changing the look of homes and businesses alike. Colour isn���t just back ��� it���s back in a big way and here to stay, according to the colour forecast for home d��cor in 20132014 from the PPG Pittsburgh Paints�� brand. Homeowners have come to appreciate the newfound infusion of vibrant hues into all aspects of modern society. ���We are living at a time when an unprecedented platform for self-expression exists due to the constant transformation of technology and ever-growing connectivity and communication,��� says Dee Schlotter, brand manager, The Voice of Color program of the PPG Pittsburgh Paints brand. ���Consumers are articulating their creativity like never before. Fresh, bold colour has permeated our daily lives, becoming an increasingly dramatic character in home d��cor and overall design. Homeowners who were once leery of colour are now embracing it with open arms and a brand-new level of sophistication.��� Both designers and homeowners are showing their creativity by embracing deep, dramatic teals such as French Riviera and sharp, playful fuchsias such as Rose Marquis, just two of the 25 lively key colours from Pittsburgh Paints. With such an abundance of bold choices, the method for integrating colour and lifestyle will vary from person to person. That will make all the difference in interpretation, says Schlotter. ���The key trend colours for the PPG Pittsburgh Paints brand are presented in signature five-colour palette cards that offer colour opportunities for all design elements in a space, from paint and window treatments to flooring and fabric.��� Cloverdale Paint offers two products for 2013 with the Renaissance Paint, a hybrid waterborne alkyd paint, and SharkSkin��� Deck & Siding stain. ���Renaissance is available in two sheen levels, gloss and semi-gloss, and it has exceptional flow and leveling performance,��� says Kevin Skelly, marketing manager. ���It provides excellent water and abrasion resistance, which means the paint is able to withstand repeated scrubbing, and wear and tear.
