Congratulations to our friend and colleague, Sybil Verch, on being recognized as one of BC's Most Influential Women in Finance! Sybil lives by her moto: "conceive, believe, achieve" and encourages other women to do so too. She is actively engaged in the Women's Advisory Council at Raymond James, plays an integral part in mentoring women in finance and is dedicated to increasing the number of female advisors in our industry. She is the author of The Female Edge, focused on changing the status quo when it comes to gender diversity in senior leadership roles. She is a member of the private client committee at the Investment Industry Association of Canada (IIAC), and a continuous supporter of the Peter B Gustavson School of Business at the University of Victoria. Sybil is the executive producer and host of a finance television talk show, The Wealthy Life, which is sponsored by Raymond James Ltd. and airs nationally to help Canadians make smarter financial decisions. Congratulations, Sybil! Your partners at Raymond James are very proud of you.
